Delete your account
You can delete your PVcase Recharge account and its data yourself, from inside the app. This page explains how, exactly what is removed, and what to do if you no longer have the app installed.
Delete from inside the app
- 1 Open PVcase Recharge and tap your avatar in the top-right corner of the header.
- 2 Choose Delete account at the bottom of the menu.
- 3 Read the confirmation panel and tap Delete account again to confirm.
This happens immediately and cannot be undone
There is no waiting period, no queue and no recovery window. The moment you confirm, your account row and the data listed below are erased from the Recharge database — not hidden, not archived. PVcase cannot restore them afterwards, and neither can you.
What is deleted
- Your account and profile — name, work email, avatar, employee identifier and role. The record is removed outright, not marked as deleted.
- Your session bookings — every place you reserved in the event agenda.
- Your travel itinerary — the flight, transfer and hotel records held for you in Recharge, including any copy of your details attached to a booking you shared with a colleague.
- Your SOS alerts and their message threads — including the message you wrote and the coordinates sent with it, and the alerts raised for the admin team about them.
- Your push registrations — every device token, so your phone stops receiving notifications straight away.
- Your notification inbox — the record of what was delivered to you and which items you had read. (A team-wide announcement still exists for its other recipients; your copy and your read state are gone.)
- Your sign-in state — active sessions and API tokens, so every signed-in device is logged out.
What is kept, and why
Recharge keeps an administrative activity log — a record of who changed what in the admin panel, which the Workplace Experience team relies on to see how an event was set up. Those entries are not deleted, but everything in them that identifies you is stripped: your name, your email, your IP address and any record of your previous profile values are cleared, leaving an entry that no longer points to a person. Nothing that remains can be used to identify you or to rebuild your account.
What deleting does not cover
Recharge is one app inside PVcase's wider systems. Deleting your Recharge account only removes data held by Recharge. It does not touch:
- Your PVcase Google Workspace account — your work email, calendar and files are managed separately by IT and are unaffected.
- Slack — when an SOS is raised it is mirrored into #recharge-sos-message, a channel read by the Workplace Experience team, so the on-call team sees it immediately. That Slack message lives in PVcase's own Slack workspace, under its retention rules, and is not reachable from Recharge.
- The travel booking system — your itinerary is copied into Recharge from the system PVcase books travel through. Deleting your account removes Recharge's copy, but if you still have a trip booked and that sync runs again afterwards, a fresh record can be created. Ask the WX team to cancel or remove the booking at source if you want it gone entirely.
- HR and finance records — anything held about you as an employee sits outside this app.
For any of those, contact the team that owns the system, or use the contact route in the privacy policy for a formal data request.
If you no longer have the app
You do not need the app installed to have your account deleted. Email support@pvcase.com from the @pvcase.com address you signed in with, and ask us to delete your Recharge account. Sending it from that address is how we confirm the request is really yours. We will confirm by reply once it is done, and we delete exactly the same data the in-app button deletes — there is no separate, lesser version of the request.
If you can no longer send email from that address — for example because you have left PVcase — write from any address, tell us which work email the account used, and we will verify it with PVcase IT before deleting anything.
Good to know
Signing out is not deleting
Signing out just removes the app's access on that device and stops its notifications. Your account and its data stay. Use Delete account if you want them gone.
You are not blocked afterwards
Deleting is not a ban. If you sign in again later with your PVcase account, a new, empty profile is created — nothing from the deleted one comes back.
Uninstalling is not deleting either
Removing the app from your phone leaves your account in place. Delete the account first, or email us afterwards.
If you administer the web panel
Deletion is refused while you are the only remaining active administrator — otherwise nobody would be able to reach the admin panel again. Hand the administrator role to a colleague first, then delete.
